As you may have noticed, I totally made my blog up new :)
I hope to make it look more professional and also easier to orientate, but as a matter of fact this cannot be done in one night. (At least not in my case q.q)
So please be kind and ignore this test- and WiP-status of this blog, I hope I can keep it up and finish all this iritating html stuff soon... @.@

Woha, I am working like stupid, but still there is not a single thing finished... Hope that will change in near future, but we will see... For now, have a look at the WIP of Ashlotte's weapon, part one ;)

Also ich arbeite seit 3 Wochen an Ashlottes Waffe.
Leider bin ich noch so weit vom Endergebnis weg, dass ich schlecht Fortschritte zeigen kann q.q
Habe für mich beschlossen, nie mehr auf die Art Waffen zu basteln...
Aber ich werde letztendlich ne Zusammenfassung aller Arbeitsschritte posten :)
Aber erst mal ne kleine Vorschau:
Well I am working on Ashlotte's weapon for 3 weeks now.. but somehow you cannot see much progress... q.q That's why i can not show you many progress shoots till now. And that's why I'll never build a prop with that technique again q.q But I guess, I will do a summery on the steps I went through for creating her staff x3 So here is just a little preview:
Jetzt ist der Januar schon fast wieder um, die Cosplay- und Schneiderplanungen sind schon voll im Gange ;)
Dieses Jahr stehen verschiedene Projekte an, die da erst mal wären:
January has already half passed, and the cosplay and sewing plans are about to be made :D This year several projects have to be done, as there were:
Ashlotte - Soul Calibur 4
Tornürenkleid - Early bustle dress ca. 1870
Regency Dress ca. 1810
Zudem steht ein Neverwinter-Cosplay möglicherweise an, aber das muss erst abgeklärt werden ;)
Additionally, a Neverwinter cosplay is in question, but thas has to be settled first :)
Ach ja.. was natürlich noch fehlt: Meine Vorsätze fürs neue Jahr:
And what is still missing: The good intentions I have for the coming year:
Alle definitiven Projekte (siehe oben) beenden! - Finish all the projects I have listed above!
Jeden Monat etwas daran machen, nicht wieder nur auf den letzten Drücker arbeiten! - Work steady each month, so I don't have to do it in a hurry!
Auch mal wieder malen: Mein Lemur an der Küchenwand, die Dschungelbordüre im Wintergarten und das Afrikanische Bild fürs Wohnzimmer wollen fertiggestellt werden! - Do some painting now and then! There are still a plenty of pictures that want to be finished!
Und - wie jedes Jahr - abnehmen natürlich ;) Sollte ja mal in keinem Jahresvorsatz fehlen :D - And - of course like every year - lose weight ;) You cannot miss that one in a good intention plan ;)
Und damit ihr noch was zu sehen bekommt: Meine Pläne für meine Tornüre:
In meinen zukünftigen Posts werden keine Angaben wie "Morgen", "nächste Woche" oder ähnliches mehr vorkommen. "Demnächst", "Im nächsten Post", "Das nächste Mal" usw. hingegen werden Lieblingswörter werden..
Ich halte das nämlich sowieso nie ein!
I'll never use the words "tomorrow", "next week" or things like that in my future posts again. "Next time" "soon" and stuff like that are going to become my favorite words from now on XD
You couldn't count on it from the beginning anyway!
Ich war die letzten Monate sehr inaktiv auf diesem Blog, und hab euch noch nicht mal Bilder vom fertigen Kostüm gezeigt..

So, und jetzt ma mit den guten Vorsätzen anfangen ;)
Let's start with the good intentions:
Also zuerst: Die Gamescom war ein super Erfolg! Es wurden so viele Fotos gemacht, dass wir nicht mal vom Fleck kamen :D
Der Cosplay-Wettbewerb von League of Legends war nett, aber nicht wirklich fair..
Da das Publikum zum Grossteil aus männlichen Halbstarken bestanden hat, kamen natürlich knapp bekleidete Mädls mit top Body und schlechtem Cos weiter als welche, die sich ein Jahr lang Mühe für ihr Kostüm gegeben hatten und eben nicht so viel Haut zeigten..
Trotzdem war ich mit jedem meiner Cosplays so ungefähr in den Top 5, und hab gegen zum Teil echt gute Cosplayer verloren.. und damit kann ich gut leben :)
Ausserdem war ich mit beiden Kostümen im Summoner's Showcase von LoL (Video unten ;)
First, gamescom was a big success, lots of photos were taken, we couldn't even move because of the amount of requests we got :D
Also, the League of Legends Cosplay contest was nice, but yet not really fair.. Since the audience had to decide who the winner would be, barly dressed girls with a nice body and poorly sewn cosplay came closer to victory than other, well sewn dresses, where less skin was shown..
i was with each of my costumes in the top 5, which is pretty good i guess, and i lost to some really good cosplayers after all, so it was totally ok for me :)
They even showed my cosplays in the Summoner's Showcase from League of Legends:
Weil man da aber nur wenig bzw schlechte Fotos von mir sieht, hier noch ein paar Bilder von der Connichi (die auch super war! Ein mega Erfolg für unsere kleine LoL-Truppe insgesamt also ;)
You can hardly see me in the video (and the photo they got is not that charming for me..) so let me show you some pics from the Connichi, which was also a great success for my little LoL-group ;)
